Temporality 仲宗根香織

親密さの中に宿る影、消えゆく者たちとのかけがえのない時間。フォームからにじむ色、風景の中に断絶の点を連続させるプンクトゥム。写真家仲宗根香織の２０年に渡る仕事の集成でもある第一写真集Temporality。眼差しの枠組みを溶かすかのように世界と出会い、光と影の遍在をそこかしこに発見する７０余枚の写真。時間（テンポラリティ）そのものを撮る試みの中で、出会い別れる人や風景が揺れ動く。

Shadows within intimacies, the times spent with those who may soon disappear. Colors blurring forms, puncta making discontinuities recur across a landscape.

Kaori Nakasone’s first photo book, Temporality, assembles such appearances and disappearances in more than seventy photographs taken over the past two decades. In this book, the world appears by loosening our gaze toward it, soliciting us to rediscover the immanence of light and shadow in such a world. In Nakasone’s attempt to trace time itself, people and landscapes that one encounters and parts ways with reappear and continue to waver before our eyes.

仲宗根香織プロフィール

1979年沖縄生まれ。写真家、小舟舎主宰。2008年から2010年まで写真雑誌『LP』の編集メンバーとして活動し、紙面上で作品を発表。2011年に雑誌『las barcas』を立ち上げ、これまでにlas barcas4号までを編集・発行。2016年個展“Unframed” (Kiyoko Sakata Gallery, Naha, 2016)、2017年1月グループ展 “Transit Republic : The Pan-Pacific Collective Edition” ( arena 1 gallery, Los Angeles, 2017)に参加。
